PhysKids: Fun Physics for Kids

A starlit adventure through bite-sized physics puzzles.

A note from the developer

PhysKids was my very first game, built long before the AI boom. I have always loved physics, and I hoped my own child would come to love it too. So I sat down and asked myself a simple question: what does it really take for a child to become good at physics? I arrived at two answers. The first is curiosity, a genuine hunger to know how things work. The second is physical common sense, an intuitive feel for how the world behaves.

PhysKids grew out of those two ideas. It is a collection of small puzzles that ask children to think, but never ask too much, and that reward every solution with a real "wow" moment. For children under five, I recommend a parent play alongside them and help them discover how each puzzle works.

I set out to make the puzzles as varied as possible and to cover as much of physics as I could. Most physics games stop at mechanics. PhysKids goes further, inviting children to explore light, fluids, pressure, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, waves, electricity and magnetism.

The game unfolds in a bright, charming 3D world seen from a bird's-eye view, following a young girl on her quest to gather fallen star fragments. My hope is that its pictures and its story stay with children long after the screen goes dark, and give their imaginations somewhere new to wander.
